Leap of Faith by Eileen Cooper, Charcoal 2008.

To quote from the Royal Academy’s introduction to the exhibition “An accomplished painter and printmaker, Cooper’s practice has always been underpinned by drawing. This remarkable body of work illustrates how her distinctive imagery has developed through making drawings that explore such subjects as sexuality, birth, family, fecundity and creativity”

The Visit by Eileen Cooper Charcoal 2002

The exhibition, displayed in John Madejski Fine Rooms of the Royal Academy, captures Eileen’s natural and spontaneous style.
