“Following in the footsteps of John Constable we take in the green expanse of Hampstead Heath as our subject and capture the effects of the soft morning light. We will use examples by Monet, Corot, Constable and Turner as we explore the genre of Landscape painting and in particular that of the en plein air oil sketch.” David Caldwell
